Established in March 1970, CBA has come a long way to be the leading supplier of office equipment to the Sri Lankan market and today the name of CBA is synonymous with office equipment.
In its inception, the company was exclusively an importer and a reseller of office machines, owning agencies for Typewriters and Photocopiers namely BROTHER and MITA respectively.
The company was registered in 1970 with a small family of 5, initially marketing a few banking machines. Today, the company’s reputation is very strong in the high value and high profile banking sector in Sri Lanka.
Then came the biggest exposure for CBA with the Non -Aligned Conference held in 1976 in Colombo CBA was up to the task and was able to extend its services in a professional manner, thus meeting all requirements of the prestigious Summit Conference.
With the introduction of the free market economy in 1977, the restriction on imports was lifted and CBA was able to exploit the situation for the better and became one of the highly respected players in the field of office automation.
Today, CBA is established as a quality Supplier of office equipment and a service provider with a solid and ever increasing customer base due to its dedication and responsibility towards fulfilling the requirements of its valued customers.

47th Anniversary Celebrations 2017
The annual Thanksgiving Service was held on 4th March 2017 at the St.Pauls' Church, Milagiriya which was followed by the Service Awards Presentation. The event was well attended by the staff members, their families and special guests.

Received the “MP Achiever Award for 2008/2009” from Kyocera Mita Singapore Ltd as an Appreciation for good performance at the Dealer Convention held in Singapore in March 2009.
EMV SEMINAR 2008
CBA organized a Seminar on EMV Cards on 13 th May 2008 at the Ceylon Continental Hotel.
Titled ‘Migration to EMV Cards and Bank Issuance’ the Seminar was conducted by NBS Technologies.
The Seminar was presented by Mr Ramesh Ajitprasad, Director, Product Management at UBIQ Software (a Division of NBS Technologies Inc) and Mr Raymond Hui, Director, Asia Pacific Sales for NBS Technologies Inc.
The Seminar was well attended with high-level representatives from all leading Banks.
